This is a total gem. Make reservations (we had a group of 8). Service was great, atmosphere was awesome, food was amazing. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. A few extra bucks for each meal, but worth every bit. Beet chips and chorizo dip starters were mouth watering heaven.

Excellent food, generous portions, locally sourced, locally owned , highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant.

It's a cute little restaurant/lounge. The menu is pretty unique, especially the drink menu. The waitresses/bartenders that were serving us were super friendly and courteous. However, there was one girl with fake eyelashes and long fake nails and black hair (I'm assuming that she's a waitress)... well, we smiled at her and she looked at us like we were gross to her or something. The whole time, she gave us these cold stares, like she didn't want us there. But anyways, besides that, our visit was nice and interesting. I love that they have a good variety for their drinks. I'd like to come back and try more food and drinks. Hopefully that one waitress smiles for a change, and changes her attitude. I'd feel a lot more comfortable.

Food at Rae's is always great. I've been there twice now with larger groups, and eneryone always enjoys their meals. Have only heard great reports from others

The food is creative and inspired. Delicious dalliances in every ethnicity. It would be an insult to refer to this menu as fusion, but there are definitely elements here. Don't look at the prices. Don't worry what it costs. Immerse yourself and your palette in the culinary experience and wash it all down with a great craft beer, select premium wine or the very best mixed drinks!

I pre-ordered in advance for take out. The food was good, my favourite thing we ordered were the beet chips appetizer. The sweet heat burger was good, but not hot or as spicy as I was expecting. The poutine was ok but barely warm. I got there to pick up my order on time, however they made me wait almost 15 minutes... which is why I think my food wasn't hot. I would expect my order to come out at the pre-ordered time. I was not given an explanation as to why it took that long when it did come out. So that was disappointing, especially considering I saw the waitress who brought out my order waiting on the people on the patio while I was waiting.

This has become one of our favourite restaurants over the past year and with an excellent restaurant scene in Winnipeg this is surprisingly the only one we will attend regularly. We try to go once every couple weeks as the menu is always changing to feature new, delicious, fresh, creative, high quality desserts, appetizers and entrees. the pictures do no do the flavour of the food justice (and I'll admit that the pictures look incredible). The staff is friendly, knowledgable and knows how to read your preferred serving style. The cutlery and decor are high quality to match a premium atmosphere and ambiance. Rae's is worth every second of the drive regardless of where you live in the city.

One of the best places to eat that we have been introduced to in a long time. Thank god we received a menu in the mail during COVID 19 or we would have never heard of this gem of a restaurant. There are so many things we want to try on the menu. So far, excellent fries, one of the best pizza’s we have ever had, and great burgers. Can’t wait to go back!

Super pleasant staff food is awesome. Quiet out of the way place to sit and relax. Great selection of beer wine and spirits. Smoked jalapenos were awesome. Products made in house and quality is in the taste.Under new management.

My wife and I love going to Rae's Bistro. Tonight I had the Rae's deluxe pizza which was fantastic. My wife had a burger and salad that she loved. What a great place!

We recently got a menu in the mail for Rae’s Bistro + Lounge we all decided as a family of 3 that the menu looked amazing and decided to try it for a Saturday night Mother’s Day supper with my mother in law. We all loved our food choices so much that we looked at the menu again after eating and decided we will be eating there multiple times in the future and definitely eating something different every time.

Easily my favorite restaurant in the city - their desserts alone make it the best, but their chalkboard specials are truly unique! Always amazing service! Oh and their coffee is amazing!

It's been awhile since I've been pleasantly surprised about a restaurant. Tonight was that surprise! Our family of 5 was treated to great service, large portions, and quality food! The chalkboard menus were unique and the flight of beers our server chose excellent. Everyone agreed we'll be back!

This place is a hidden gem! Excellent service and food with happy hour drinks and appies. Great for a date or friends gathering too! They have talent on board, so foodies please check this place out! For March had the Lucky Charms cake slice (big enough to share) and new shrimp appetizer. Very impressed on the creativity with the food and freshness.

The staff show great service, they are personable, and polite. The food is amazing, local, and worth the slightly pricey amount of money.

We were recently at Rae's Bistro with a party of 8 for dinner during an extremely busy Friday night. This place was absolutely phenomenal! From the extensive wine list and craft beer selections available on tap to the lovingly prepared appetizer and dinner specials they change weekly, everything was absolutely delicious! We had such a fabulous experience that we have booked another reservation already. The environment here is warm and cozy. Our server Naomi did a wonderful job and took excellent care of our party. We could not say enough about this North K gem! Chef Lorne is doing a great job. Bravo Rae's! We'll be back :)** reservations recommended here!

Went here for the first time last night! Whatever servers were working on July 27th around 6-9, need a raise. They knew everything about the menu and the specials, I have no idea how they remembered all of it by heart. They had me and my friends laughing and they were super considerate about my friends allergies. Drinks, dinner, and dessert were all 10/10. I will definitely be back and definitely recommending to friends in the future.

Ordered gluten free for Celiac, food came covered in fries which we were even told on the phone not to order due to cross contamination. So we ordered a side salad but got the fries instead. Salad wrap for burger had dirty lettuce. When I notified the business they chose not to respond to me.

Had a wonderful dinner. Kayla was a great server. Food was tasty and unique. Good job guys. Only 4 stars because the location is FARRRRR to get too. But worth the drive out to nearly East St. Paul

We celebrated my cousins birthday there and the whole experience was AMAZING! I recommend the Chorizo Dip....we all agreed we’d love to eat it as a soup. All the meals were delicious. Most ordered off their chalkboard menu. My shrimp and pasta dish was so flavourful. Definitely a new favourite place to go.
